QT participated in the project: “Supply of supplies for the EU-MAIL transition (Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock), Development for Perennial Horticulture (PHDP) and Development of Animal Health (AHDP)” in Afghanistan.
Funded by the European Commission, the overall objective is the creation of Centers that will allow the horticultural industry to respond profitably to market demand through activities such as:
the cultivation of a national collection of fruit and nut varieties, the introduction of varieties of domestic demonstration orchards, develop pollination pathways and breeding programs, undertake evaluation, characterization and data collection.
During the project there were many challenges, among them: the transport of the reagent at a controlled temperature up to -20 ° C in Kabul and the transport of dangerous reagents at a controlled temperature. This necessity required up to 10 different shipments to guarantee safety.
